THE CENTRAL UTAH SCIENCE & ENGINEERING FAIR IS PRESENTED BY THE BYU McKAY SCHOOL OF EDUCATION AND THE BYU-PUBLIC SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP
CUSEF has released new paperwork for the 2014-2015 year. We hope this change will make the paperwork process easier and more straightforward for all involved. ALL students completing a science fair project are required to fill out the forms. The forms can be found in the Student, Parent, or Teacher section. The background watermark of the new forms should read '2015', if they still say '2014' please refresh your browser or clear your browser history and download the forms again. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us, email@example.com
We truly have phenomenal students! In May, CUSEF's 10 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair Finalists competed in Los Angeles, California, receiving recognition for their scientific achievements. Juniors from Maple Mountain High School, Tucker Sandbakken and Jason Syndergaard, received a Special Award for a 5-day trip to visit CERN in Switzerland, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, one of the world's largest and most respected centers for scientific research. At this spring's 2014 I-SWEEEP competition, Alexandra Jesperson received an Honorable Mention for her project titled, 'Pressured Paper: The Effects of Pressure on the Decay of Recycled Paper Strength' and Amanda Thatcher received the Bronze metal for her project titled 'The Carbon Sequestrator.' We would also like to congratulate Sarah Argyle, Michael Petersen, Matthew Carter, Gage Blackwell and Adam Call, for being selected among the 300 Broadcom MASTERS middle school semi-finalists. Congratulations to all of our CUSEF finalists!
