All Category Winners

All Category Winners in grades 5-12 receive a certificate, trophy, and monetary award. If students are part of a team the monetary award is split evenly among teammates. One trophy will be awarded to the team at the award ceremony. Additional trophies for teammates will be ordered and delivered by district personnel to student’s school at a later date.

Other Awards for 6-8 Grade Students

The top 10% of students in grades 6-8 will be nominated to submit an application as part of the Broadcom MASTERS Competition. Workshops will be held to assist students in completing this application.

Scholarships

Brigham Young University – McKay School of Education – 2 scholarships are awarded to two graduating seniors who have been accepted to the University.

Brigham Young University – Mathematics Scholarship
– Awarded to the best math based project. Student(s) do not need to be accepted at time of award; eligible students 9-12 grade.

Utah Valley University – College of Science & Health
– Awarded to a graduating senior who has been accepted to the University.

Westminster College – Awards a $4000 scholarship ($1000/year for 4 years) to ALL Juniors and Seniors who compete in the Central Utah STEM Fair. An $80,000 scholarship ($20,000/year for 4 years) is awarded to ISEF Finalists.

Travel Awards

*I-SWEEEP Traveler – All expense paid trip to Houston, TX in Late April/Early May, to compete in the I-SWEEEP (International Sustainable World (Engineering Energy Environment) Project) Competition award to the top two projects that focus on Engineering, Energy, and/or Environment, in the Senior Division.

*ISEF Finalist Traveler – All expense paid trip to represent CUSF in the Intel ISEF (International Science & Engineering Fair). Location for 2018 – Pittsburgh, PA, May 13-19, 2018. This is awarded to the top 4 projects in the Senior Division.
